Martha is Dead is going to get a movie adaptation – That’s Gaming

In a groundbreaking collaboration, Italian game studio LKA, British publisher Wired Productions and Swedish film production company Studios Extraordinaires have announced an exclusive partnership for a feature film adaptation of the video game “Martha Is Dead.”

Set in the picturesque but war-torn landscape of Tuscany in 1944, “Martha Is Dead” weaves a chilling story against the backdrop of World War II. Players step into the shoes of Giulia, a young woman caught up in a chilling mystery following the death of her twin sister, Martha.

“Every element of ‘Martha Is Dead’ was created with extraordinary precision and care. The adaptation will be led by Studios Extraordinaires, a creative powerhouse of André Hedetoft and Andreas Troedsson that specializes in creating high-quality action, horror and sci-fi films based on original stories and extraordinary games.

Currently in active development, the film adaptation of “Martha Is Dead” is being formed in close collaboration with Luca Dalcò, founder and director of LKA, and the creator of Martha Is Dead. André Hedetoft and Andreas Troedsson are attached to the feature film as co-directors. In addition to directing, André brings additional expertise as screenwriter writing the script, while Andreas Troedsson also assumes the role of cinematographer to ensure both a visually stunning and meticulously crafted adaptation.
