Support for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is finally about to expire (unless Nintendo has other plans that have not yet been announced, of course). The fifth and penultimate wave of Booster Course Pass was launched in June, and during the recent Direct presentation, Nintendo revealed when the final wave of DLC will be released for the kart racer.
Booster Course Pass – Golf 6 will be released this fall for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Like all previous waves, it will add eight new tracks to the game, and while the full list of those tracks has not yet been revealed, Nintendo has confirmed that a remake of the Mario Kart Wii circuit Daisy Circuit will be included.
Meanwhile, like the past few waves, Wave 6 will also bring new playable characters to the game. Four new characters will be included: Funky Kong, Diddy Kong, Pauline and Peachette. Check out the trailer below for a glimpse of the new content.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is available on the Nintendo Switch.
