Madrid In Gamean initiative of the Madrid City Council, is launching ‘El Tardeo’ with Madrid Game Clustera project that aims to generate synergies in the sector and give visibility to the ecosystem through a series of free and open meetings for professionals and the Madrid gaming community.
These meetings will take place on last Wednesday of each month at the Experience Center of the Madrid in Game Video Game Campus.. Each afternoon will have a central theme and will be attended by different speakers of reference in the sector, thus generating a unique opportunity to create community thanks to the activities, round tables and networking that will be organized in each session.
The debut of the ‘Madrid In Game Afternoon’ will be next Wednesday, March 29th at 18:00. The first part of the event, lasting 45 minutes, will be dedicated to the Madrid-based company Mercury Steam and its trajectory to become one of the leading developers in the industry.
We will be joined by Enric Álvarez, co-owner of the studio behind videogames such as Clive Baker’s Jericho, the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow saga, Raiders of the Broken Planet or the 2D revival of the Metroid saga on Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch with Metroid: Samus Returns and Metroid Dread. The second part of the event will focus on networking and contact between professionals and video game users in order to seek synergies, strengthen the network of contacts and create new business opportunities..
Tickets for ‘El Tardeo de Madrid In Game’ are limited and are already available for professionals and individuals. The organization has enabled a link so that those interested can register for the event, which aims to become an unmissable monthly event in the ecosystem of companies in the capital.
