You can never get enough of Luigi’s Mansion. Earlier this year, Nintendo revealed that they were working on an improved remaster of the beloved 3DS title Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, and during their recent Direct presentation, the company revealed more new details about the upcoming release.
For starters, the remastered version of the game drops its original subtitle and will instead be called Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD. The latest trailer shows off the improved and updated visuals, which may not be on the same level as something like Luigi’s Mansion 3, but certainly look like a significant upgrade over the original 3DS version of the game (which looked pretty good on its own).
The trailer also shows several glimpses of gameplay, in which Luigi interacts with different types of ghosts, pulls out his trusty Poltergust and other gadgets, explores different environments and solves puzzles. Check it out below.
Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD will be released sometime in the summer of 2024 for the Nintendo Switch.
