Logitech now has a more affordable vertical mouse called the Vertical Lift, which comes on offer at a lower price than the premium model it already had, the MX Vertical. It comes in both right-handed and left-handed versions and promises an ergonomic design that will bring high comfort in use, especially for those who work long hours at a computer and feel tired, especially in the wrist area.
The new Vertical Lift mouse is also offered in a left-handed version
The Vertical Lift is included in Logitech’s Ergo product line, which includes other similar high-comfort devices such as the MX Vertical, MX Ergo or the Ergo K860 keyboard. To achieve a lower price than the MX model, which is considered a premium accessory, Lift Vertical seems to use a predominantly plastic construction at the top and a rubberized area at the bottom. However, the advantage of this model is that there are now various color options (pink, white and black) compared to the standard gray on the MX.
The new Logitech Vertical Lift has a 57-degree tilt that keeps your hand in a comfortable position. It is also built for small to medium sized hands, while the MX Vertical seems to be built for larger hands. Connecting to a computer can be done in two ways: either via Bluetooth LE or via the USB Logi Bolt dongle. The mouse is also compatible with Logitech Flow, a technology that allows you to use three devices simultaneously and copy files from one to another.
For setup, Lift Vertical uses the Logi Options application, available on Windows and Mac, and a single AA battery is required for power. Logitech says it only needs to be changed once every 24 months. The price is 80 euros, and the left-handed version comes only in black, without the other options. In comparison, the superior model, MX Vertical, costs 120 euros.
