The FTX crypto-currency exchange would have stopped to process withdrawals. Social network users, especially on Twitter, began complaining that they could not withdraw their crypto for hours.
This comes amid speculation about FTX’s alleged financial problems, which impacted crypto-currency prices earlier in the day. On Monday, FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried tweeted that his crypto-currency empire was “fine” in an attempt to calm the market.
The FTT token is down more than 23 percent over the past 24 hours.
