LALIGA announces new EA SPORTS FC competitive season, introducing LALIGA FC Pro

The new LALIGA 2023/24 competitive gaming season is here, featuring LALIGA FC Pro. The new era of EA SPORTS FC as the main sponsor of LALIGA also extends to competitive gaming, with a complete rebranding of the competition.

Professional gamers from EA SPORTS FC 24 will compete in the new EA SPORTS FC ecosystem, FC Prowhich offers the best in the national and international competitive landscape. LALIGA FC Pro becomes the elite competitive gaming program in Spain.

The rebranding of LALIGA FC Pro is backed by the continuous effort of raise the profile and professionalization of the competition.. With the broad sponsorship relationship between LALIGA and EA SPORTS FC, the new branding is more premium and of higher quality than ever beforereflecting the commitment of both brands to positioning the competition as one of the biggest and most important events in the FC Pro ecosystem.

This season, as with LALIGA EA SPORTS and LALIGA HYPERMOTION, will come loaded with significant new features, also for LALIGA FC Pro. It is the only official Spanish competition of EA SPORTS FC 24, and we look forward to the substantial improvements to the EA SPORTS FC Pro ecosystem made by our title sponsor, which will drastically improve the opportunities and visibility of clubs throughout the season. LALIGA FC Pro will offer a number of new features for its seventh season of competitive soccer gaming, the first of which will be an update to the competition format. The Regular Season will be played over two weekends between February and March, during which the participating clubs will be divided into eight groups to compete for access to the Cup and the Final. All the matches will return to the 1v1 format. And in line with previous years, as was the case in Madrid, Barcelona, Zaragoza or PortAventura World in Tarragona, the on-site stops with public will touch new cities, once again bringing the excitement closer to the community.

With a new name for the competition also comes new opportunities to achieve glory, and this season the competition will have the largest prize pool in its history, exceeding €350,000. More details will be revealed in the coming months, in what will be the season’s most
exciting season in its history, kicking off in November with the first SuperCup title.

LALIGA FC Pro SuperCup, the first title of the season

Real Betis and RC Celta, last season’s champion and runner-up, along with Atlético de Madrid and Real Valladolid, Cup and SuperCup champions respectively, will compete for the title of champion club of the season. LALIGA FC Pro SuperCup on November 11. It will be a 1v1 tournament according to the new EA SPORTS FC Pro competitive format, played 9 minutes per part, with direct elimination bracket.

The semi-finals will be played as a best of one match, while the final will be played as a best of two. The event will take place within the framework of the UBeat Festival in Barcelona, between 18:00 and 21:00..
