From tomorrow at midnight PST Polyphony Digital is rolling out the biggest update yet for Gran Turismo 7. The Spec 3 update adds not only two all-new tracks, but also eight new vehicles, new World Circuit events, Extra Menus, Weekly Challenges and various QoL improvements. Sony revealed the full contents via the PlayStation Blog.
Eight new cars – from Ferrari to FIAT Panda
The lineup of new vehicles is more diverse than ever. Here are the eight new bolides that can be added to your garage:
- Ferrari 296 GT3 ’23
- Ferrari 296 GTB ’22
- FIAT Panda 30 CL ’85
- Gran Turismo F3500-B
- Mine’s BNR34 GT-R N1 base
- Mitsubishi FTO GP Version R ’97
- Polestar 5 Performance ’26
- Renault Espace F1 ’95
From modern hypercars to iconic classics-Spec 3 has something for every driver.
Two new circuits: Yas Marina & Gilles-Villeneuve
Players can immediately let loose on two world-renowned race tracks:
- Yas Marina Circuit – Abu Dhabi’s famed night racing track
- Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve – A Canadian classic full of technical turns
These circuits come with new events in World Circuits, including:
- European Sunday Cup 400 – Goodwood Motor Circuit
- Japanese FF Challenge – Blue Moon Bay Speedway (Infield A)
- Nissan GT-R Cup – Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve
- Ferrari Circuit Challenge – Yas Marina Circuit
- World Touring Car 800 – Yas Marina Circuit
- Super Formula – Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve
- Gr.1 Prototype Series – Yas Marina Circuit
Collector Level increased to 75 + new Extra Menus
The Collector Level is increased from 50 to 75, giving players access to four new Extra Menus in the GT Cafe:
- Extra Menu 48 – Alfa Romeo Legends (Level 70)
- Extra Menu 49 – Legendary Road Racers (Level 66+)
- Extra Menu 50 – Audi TT (Level 52+)
- Extra Menu 51 – Mazda (Level 57+)
Weekly Challenges & Data Logger
The Spec 3 update introduces Weekly Challenges, weekly online events available for a limited time.
In addition, the return of the Data Logger, which allows you to analyze your telemetry in real-time during Time Trials, Licences and Circuit Experience-such as racing lines, braking points and top speeds.
Also new: official Dunlop tires added to tire offerings.
Power Pack DLC – five million Credits and six special vehicles
Simultaneously with the update, the paid Power Pack:
- Price: $29,99
- Contents: five million Credits (normally worth more than $40)
- Includes the ability to six unique cars specially tuned by Gran Turismo to be unlocked by earning Stars in the corresponding DLC races.
