Genshin Impact version 4.3 will be released Dec. 20 – That’s Gaming

Right after announcing a release window for Zenless Zone Zero, miHoYo has confirmed that the next update for Genshin Impact will launch on Dec. 20. Version 4.3, “Roses and Muskets,” sees the celebration of the Fontinalia Festival. It also adds two new characters – 5-star Geo wielder Navia and 4-star Cryo user Chevreuse. The Fontinalia Festival focuses on the characters making a short film with Furina directing, Kamisato Ayaka and Ayato acting, and Travel coordinating. There are mini-games, including one focused on marksmanship, where players can win Theater Tickets to redeem for rewards such as “Ultimate Overlord’s Mega Magic Sword,” a four-star Claymore.

Fans can also expect an update to Genius Invokation TCG, with more maps, NPCs to fight against and the temporary Heated Battle mode. There will also be some optimizations for exploring Teyvat, with a “one-click feature” to collect expedition rewards, ingredients and forged items. You will also be able to lock batches of Artifacts and set filters for which new or existing Artifacts you want to view.
