The FC Pro World Championshipthe event that closes the season of the esports circuit of EA Sports FCwill take place at the Esports World Cup. The competition will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from July 31 to August 10.
As part of a revamped format, the 2025 edition of the FC Pro World Championship, will include a last chance qualifier that will also take place in the country. The last chance playoffs will see up to 512 players compete for a spot in the 48-player playoff tournament. Following the playoffs, 32 players will take to the virtual soccer pitch to determine the EA Sports FC World Champion.
In addition to a revamped format, the event will feature an expanded prize pool of $1.5M, allowing EA to offer cash prizes to players competing in the last chance playoffs and play-ins.
2025 marks the first time the official EA FC esports circuit will participate in the Esports World Cup. The 2024 edition of the multi-title event featured EA Sports FC 24 as a standalone competition.
