Following the successful television debut of Fallout on Amazon Prime last year, it has now been announced when we can expect the second season – and that’s still before the end of this year.
According to Variety Amazon has announced that Fallout Season 2 at December of this year will be released. As the end of season 1 suggested, season 2 takes you on a journey through the wastelands of the Mojave and to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas. Although we haven’t seen any footage yet, Amazon is already so confident in the series that season 3 is officially confirmed.
“We are incredibly excited that our global Prime Video viewers will be able to dive even deeper into the surreal and fascinating world of Fallout,” said Vernon Sanders, head of television at Amazon MGM Studios. “The team behind the series has done an amazing job bringing this beloved game to life. Together with our partners at Bethesda, we are thrilled to announce a third season even before the long-awaited start of season 2.”
That confidence doesn’t come from nowhere: season 1 has since more than 100 million viewers drawn, making it among the top three most watched series on Prime Video.
Actor Aaron Moten (Maximus) recently let it be known that we may total five or six seasons from Fallout should expect.
