Today Offworld Industries, in partnership with Sony Pictures Consumer Products, is proud to launch Starship Troopers: Extermination into Early Access. While the game is primed and ready for intense team-based shooter action, more features and improvements to the core gameplay experience will be added over time. By inviting players in the early stages of public access, the Offworld Industries team is excited to engage the community to help determine what features and mechanisms should be built upon and evolve before the game eventually transitions to 1.0. Player feedback will be an integral part of the ongoing creative process, as Offworld Industries works to replicate popular requests and add more content over the weeks and months following the Early Access launch.

The Early Access edition of Starship Troopers: Extinction is available for $24.99 USD – a special introductory price that will increase as more content is introduced prior to the launch of 1.0 – and places players on the far front lines in an all-out war with the spider-like menace. Team up as a Trooper in the Deep Space Vanguard, an elite Special Forces group within the Mobile Infantry, and get ready to defeat a Bug! No Trooper will ever stand alone as they stand shoulder to shoulder with their fellow Vanguards – trusted Morita Assault Rifles in hand – to battle hordes of bloodthirsty insectoid aliens on the hostile surface of the planet Valaka.

Work together to achieve goals, acquire resources, build and defend your base of operations, and then escape together to the extraction point. The battle will be intense, but as hardened warriors who stand for all of humanity and the United Citizen Federation, don’t leave an inch of ground safe from the arachnids!
