Lidl will sell a kitchen device next week that could be very useful for those trying to lose weight or maintain their current weight.
A calorie scale can be purchased in the company’s stores. The device, Silvercrest Kitchen Tools brand, will cost 60 lei.
The device provides nutritional and caloric values for 800 common foods. The scale has 200 user-programmable storage spaces.
The device calculates, for food and ingredients, fats, proteins, carbohydrates, kilojoules, kilocalories and cholesterol.
The device automatically shuts off after 60 seconds, includes the TARA function, and displays the battery level.

The maximum weight supported is 5 kg.
The scale works with batteries and will have a 3-year warranty. The device will hit stores on Thursday, March 31st.
What offers does the competition have
The price of the model offered by Lidl is attractive. At eMAG, a similar scale, which also supports a weight of 5 kg, costs almost 100 lei.
That model, First Austria FA-6407-1, includes databases with seven nutritional values for 999 foods and ingredients. The seven values are: calories, sodium, protein, fat, carbohydrates, cholesterol and fiber.
The scale offers three working modes: weighing, nutritional value and saving nutritional value.
