Dead Island 2 Trophies leaked, Co-op is required for Platinum – That’s Gaming

Dambuster Studios’ Dead Island 2 will be released in about two weeks after years of delays, and we couldn’t be more excited. Although it is not an open-world title and has a more linear level design, completionists will have to enter co-op at some point. According to the leaked Trophy list for the PlayStation version (courtesy of TrueTrophies), it requires two to play with others.

The first is “Slayer Squad,” which requires completing five random quests in co-op. The second, “I Am the Resurrection,” involves patching up other Slayers five times. Neither sounds particularly difficult, so that’s nice.

The Trophy list also hints at the range of content available. “LA Influential” indicates at least 40 non-story-bound quests to complete, while “Zombologist” confirms a Zompedia cataloging each Zombie type.

You must also complete Weapon Challenges, Blueprint Challenges and Zombie Challenges, along with Lost and Found Weapon Quests and Lost Found Missing Person Quests. As if that were not enough, there are about 30 Skill Cards and 20 Journals, with level 30 being the maximum for a Slayer. Overall, the previously mentioned play time of 20 hours for the story and some side missions seems to be more accurate.
