Dead Island 2 is available now – That’s Gaming

Just eight months after the game was announced, Dambuster Studios and Deep Silver are pleased to announce that Dead Island 2 available as of today.

Dead Island 2 moves players to a gritty version of Los Angeles called HELL-A. There, players must survive and slaughter with six protagonists – Amy, Bruno, Dani, Ryan, Carla and Jacob – each with their own personalities and unique skills, which are customizable with the all-new Skill Cards system.

After the city is quarantined due to a deadly virus, you begin an epic journey with an almost immune slayer in a delightful pulp atmosphere. Meet the wackiest characters and explore famous locations such as Beverly Hills, Venice Beach and Santa Monica to discover who or what is behind the outbreak.

Slaughtering zombies is more fun than ever thanks to Dambuster’s F.L.E.S.H. (Fully Locational Evisceration System for Humanoids) system, which makes cutting off limbs look and feel wonderfully realistic. To take the carnage to an even higher level, players can combine a wealth of weapons, modifications and skills to create wacky builds to their liking.

There are dozens of different types of zombies, each with their own mutations, attacks and LA-themed variations. For an even longer and more sociable stay in the City of Angels, the game is also playable with two or three cooperating players at once.

Dead Island 2 is now available for Xbox Series X and Xbox One, Microsoft’s all-in-one games-and-entertainment system, the PlayStation®5 and PlayStation®4 computer entertainment systems, and the Epic Games Store for PC.
