We are talking, of course, about a new Addams family, which will be presented to the public with the help of the Netflix spin-off, through the prism of the character Wednesday. The new series, created by Tim Burton, will star Jenny Ortega, but the cast will also include Christina Ricci, who will give life to a new character, whose name has not yet been revealed.

Ricci is best known for her performance as Wednesday in “The Addams Family” and “Addams Family Values.” Both films were somewhat inspired by Burton, but they were not, in fact, films directed by him. Barry Sonnenfeld did a great job with both, however.

Burton’s next Netflix movie, “Wednesday,” stars Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, but also Luis Guzmán as Gomez. Also in the cast are Riki Lindhome, Jamie McShane and Gwendoline Christie. Obviously, as time goes on, new and new names will be revealed.

We can say that we are talking about a comedy series, infused with the supernatural, which follows the teenage years of Wednesday, from Nevermore Academy, where she tries to master her developing psychic abilities. Moreover, she is trying to prevent a monstrous crime that terrorized the city and solve a mystery that involved her parents, 25 years ago, all while struggling to explore her adolescence, but also to discover yourself.
