CDL Championship moves to Las Vegas

Call of Duty League (CDL) has announced that the end-of-season championship will take place in Las Vegas. Vegas, Nevada. The event will be held from June 15-18 at the Thomas & Mack Center UNLV, a 19,500-seat pavilion located on the campus of the University of Nevada.

A total of 12 teams are competing in the Call of Duty League, including OpTic Gaming, FaZe Clan, Version1 and 100 Thieves.. The eight best of the regular season will compete for the championship title. Details of the awards have not yet been released, but last year it rose to the $2,5M and the winning team took approximately half.

So far, the 2023 season of Call of Duty League has generated a lot of success after the Major of Phase 3 scored 335k viewers. at its peak. After two seasons broadcasting exclusively on YouTube, the CDL made its Twitch debut in December 2022, a change greeted with praise from fans. Without an exclusivity agreement, the competition will be streamed now on both platforms.

This isn’t the first time Call of Duty has headed to Las Vegas. At 2017 y 2019the Call of Duty World League (CWL) held in the city the first events of the seasons of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.
