Cardano: Charles Hoskinson reacts to Vitalik Buterin’s take on Elon Musk’s search for Twitter CEO

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, in a recent tweet, urged Elon Musk not to hastily name a replacement for Twitter’s CEO. The Tesla CEO, who acquired Twitter in late October to the delight of many Twitter users, has expressed a desire to step down as CEO as soon as he finds “Someone crazy enough to take the job.

The statement came as more than 57.5% of users voted for his resignation, a result he promised to comply with.

The Ethereum creator said that while he is eager to see who the next CEO will be, too hasty an executive search can lead to ruinous results;”I know this from painful personal experience“, joked Buterin.

Buterin’s tweet caught the attention of Cardano’s founder, Charles Hoskinson who responded by expressing that he shared the same view. “Funny, I thought the same thing“, tweeted Hoskinson. Given the history of the relationship between the two founders, some Twitter users read various meanings into the tweet “seemingly innocuous” by Charles Hoskinson.

Hoskinson left Ethereum after falling out with the other co-founders over differing opinions on whether or not the Ethereum project should be commercial. Thus, Buterin and Hoskinson had completely different visions.

After leaving Ethereum in June 2014, Charles Hoskinson seemed to have reconciled with Vitalik Buterin. In a recent Q&A session, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson said he was ready to work with Vitalik Buterin again.

He says that if the project is a good fit, he would be willing to work with the Ethereum co-founder. Charles Hoskinson let Vitalik Buterin know that it’s not too late for him to switch to Cardano earlier this year.
