Cadillac has made no secret of the fact that it is working on an all-electric version of its Escalade SUV. After teasing the vehicle for weeks, the American automaker has now pulled the curtain on this very upcoming car.
Cadillac is known as the Escalade IQ and promises that the vehicle will be a “re defined luxury SUV experience” will offer, all on top of a 450-mile range, a redesigned interior and exterior and zero tailpipe emissions.
The car is powered by a 24-module Ultium battery that promises to emit more than 200 kWh of energy, while it can be quickly charged with 800-volt DC fast charging, allowing 100 miles of range in just 10 minutes of charging time.
In terms of raw information, Cadillac states that the Escalade IQ is capable of 750 horsepower, 785 lb-ft of torque, 0-60 mph in less than five seconds and up to 8,000 pounds of towing power.
There’s no specific mention of a release date for the car, but since it’s considered a 2025 model, probably expect it to debut sometime next year.
