BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024 to come to London

The esports tournament organizer BLAST announced, during the ESI London 2023 conferencethat the next BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024 will take place at London’s OVO Arena Wembley.. The tournament will take place from June 12-16, 2024 and will have a total award of $425.000. Tickets will be available at pre-sale on October 25 and at normal sale on October 27.

BLAST Spring Finals 2024 will feature eight teams. The first two days of the event were will be played behind closed doors at the stadium, on rest of the days will be carried out in the following manner in person. The finals come to London four years after the last event organized by BLAST in the capital, and will be the biggest Counter-Strike event in the country since the 2018 London Major.

BLAST Spring Final is one of the most important events. tournament organizer’s most important events in its competitive Counter-Strike calendar. This season’s fall finals will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark, and the 2023 World Finals will close out the season in December.

The event continues a trend of esports events coming to the UK capital. London has hosted several major esports events. in recent years for titles such as League of Legends, Rocket League, Call of Duty and Apex legends. The Wembley Arena venue has been a notable change from the other events, which have always been held at the Copper Box Arena in Stratford, London.

On the other hand, BLAST has been associated with the event company Live Nation and the destination agency London & Partners to bring the Counter-Strike event to the UK capital. Live Nation is a U.S. entertainment conglomerate that owns Ticketmaster and Live Nation Concerts. For its part, London & Partners aims to support the nation’s capital as a destination for esports and video games.

London is renowned for hosting world-class events in the fields of sports, music and entertainment, and now the city is aiming to become a leading destination for e-sports.
