Black Flag Remake possibly on the way – That’s Gaming

Ubisoft appears to be working on a remake of one of the more beloved parts in the Assassin’s Creed franchise – Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag. According to Kotaku, the remake is part of the company’s strategy plan to focus on its flagship franchise.

The remake of Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag is still in the early stages of development and will be several years away, according to Kotaku’s sources. The report also mentions that a team from Ubisoft Singapore is involved in the game.

Originally released in 2013, Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag was the first game in the franchise to come out on the PS4 and Xbox One. The game was set on the open sea full of pirates, with whom players could engage in sea battles in addition to the usual stealth expected of protagonist Edward Kenway.

As for games based on pirates, Ubisoft is also currently working on Skull and Bones. Although the game has suffered several delays in recent years, according to Kotaku, Ubisoft’s Singapore studio is currently forcing its employees to work on the title in the office rather than remotely, ahead of its upcoming closed beta test.
