Best show on Apple TV+: when season 3 of “Ted Lasso” launches

The Ted Lasso series on Apple TV+ returns after a year and a half.

Apple has revealed that the third season of the series will premiere on March 15, with a new episode (12 in total) arriving each week. The trailer below doesn’t give too many details on the story, but those who have watched the show so far know that there’s a lot to be resolved after the end of season two.

Ted Lasso debuts on Apple TV+ on March 15

Ted Lasso remains Apple’s best-known production after winning several awards. It’s proof that Apple can produce a quality series with a substantial run.

Apple TV+ gains momentum with a number of well-received titles including Severance, Slow Horses and the Oscar-winning CODA. The service is still small compared to streaming heavyweights like Amazon and Netflix, but it’s no longer a rookie.

Nick Mohammed, who plays Nate on Ted Lasso, was responding last year to the rumor that Ted Lasso’s third season could be the last for the critically acclaimed comedy series.

Nick Mohammed (Ted Lasso) responds to the rumors. The acclaimed Apple TV+ comedy series returned for Season 2 two years ago and is currently working on producing its third season. While season 1 kept its story relatively light, season 2 Ted Lasso took a darker turn, exploring the mental health of its characters and tackling complex topics like anxiety and bullying. One of the darker aspects of Ted Lasso season 2 is the dramatic turn for Nate (Mohammed).

Nate’s devastating betrayal isn’t the only point of interest for season 3 of the series. Despite the show’s high fan and critical acclaim, numerous reports have stated that season 3 will be the last for the series. Star and writer Brett Goldstein even went so far as to say that Ted Lasso season 3 is structured to work as a true finale, according to the creators’ original plans. However, Apple TV+ hasn’t officially said whether Ted Lasso is getting any closer to a finale.
