Battlefield 2042 gets All Chat support in next patch – That’s Gaming

Battlefield 2042 has proven to be a major disappointment for many fans of the series in more ways than one, leaving many already waiting for the next installment to save the series. However, DICE has continued to update the game with several patches and content additions (while it looks like many more are on the way), and a much-requested feature will soon be available as well.

DICE has confirmed that Battlefield 2042 will get All Chat support with the next update, Update 4.1.1, coming out later this week. Although All Chat is disabled by default, once enabled, players can “participate in some friendly chat” with opposing players. Of course, it remains to be seen how friendly it will actually be, but it is a feature that players have been requesting for a while, so its addition would be nice to see.
