At least two Palestinians have been killed during the early hours of Thursday morning in two clashes with Israeli forces in the West Bank, local media reported.
The first of the deceased is a young resident of the Balata refugee camp, located in the northern West Bank, after being shot in the neck by Israeli special forces, Palestinian daily ‘Maan News’ has reported.
The other Palestinian man, identified, was shot in the neck near the Beit Ilma refugee camp, north of Jerusalem, according to ‘The Times of Israel’.
Tensions have escalated in the West Bank recently, with Israeli security forces stepping up raids and arrest operations following a wave of Palestinian attacks that left 19 people dead earlier this year.
