Apocalyptica is one of the emblematic bands of world rock, approaching a special style, interspersed with the iconic accents of classical music.
Over time, the band has collaborated with important names in rock music, including Till Lindemann (Rammstein’s lead singer), Nina Hagen, Adam Gontier, Lauri Ylönen (The Rasmus lead singer), Ville Valo (HIM lead singer). , Sandra Nasic (Guano Apes lead singer), Corey Taylor (Slipknot lead singer), Gavin Rosedale (Bush band lead singer) or Brent Smith.
Moreover, the band Apocalyptica was distinguished by the interpretation of the symphonic variants of the most famous songs from Metallica, which, not surprisingly, put them on the international map of rock.
Gradually, the band became representative of the Symphonic Metal label, releasing, so far, nine studio albums. The first was called “Plays Metallica by Four Cellos” in 1996, and the latest album is called “Cell-0”, and was released on January 10, 2020.
Apocalyptica will perform in Bucharest, on September 15, at the Roman Arenas (the concert will be outdoors). It has recently been revealed that Solstafir will also be performing at the opening of their concert.
