Israel announces new aid shipment to Ukraine in the face of Russian invasion

The Israeli government has approved a new shipment of aid to Ukraine in the face of the Russian military offensive, including helmets, bulletproof vests and gas masks, the Israeli Defense Ministry has confirmed.

Defense Minister Benjamin Gantz’s office has detailed that the shipment will include 1,500 helmets, 1,500 bulletproof vests, dozens of protective suits, a thousand gas masks and dozens of filtration systems.

Thus, he has detailed that this equipment will be sent to Ukraine during the next few weeks, according to the newspaper ‘The Times of Israel’. The Israeli government has so far avoided sending military aid to Ukraine in the face of the invasion.
