An affordable version of the Ultra, the ZTE Axon 40 Pro is available on the European market at a considerably lower price.
Priced at €830 in base trim, the Axon 40 Ultra comes with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. For €950, buyers get 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
Available for 499 euro, the ZTE Axon 40 Pro makes the switch to the Snapdragon 872, a much cheaper chipset but with very competitive performance, helped with a similar assortment of RAM and internal storage. Even the AMOLED screen comes with very similar specs: diagonal 6.67 inches vs 6.8 inches, resolution 1080 x 2400 vs 1116 x 2480 pixels on the more expensive model, 120 vs 144Hz.
The photo arrangement has at its heart a 100MP module with 4K shooting support, seconded by an 8MP ultra-wide camera and 2MP resolution macro/DoF camera capable of focusing at a minimum distance of 4cm. The front camera is a 16MP model with 4K/30fps shooting support.
The configuration is complemented by a 5000mAh battery with 65W Fast Charge.
