The Italian Andrea Migno takes the ‘pole’ in Moto3

MADRID, 9 Apr. (EUROPE PRESS) –

The Italian rider Andrea Migno (Honda) got pole position in the Moto3 category of the Grand Prix of the Americas this Saturday after scoring a nice battle with his compatriot Dennis Foggia (Honda) in the final stretch of Q2.

Migno scored the top spot on the grid thanks to 0.067 thousandths of an advantage over Foggia, while the Spanish Xavier Artigas (CFMoto) took third position on a strange day where the World Championship leader Sergio García (GasGas) was fighting for the fifteenth place.

On his fifth fastest lap, Foggia, who was the main protagonist of the session, was placed first with just under two minutes to go, but then Migno appeared to do his thing, even Aritgas also passed Foggia. However, Foggia regained second place in another attempt at the horn.
