SpaceX raises Starlink subscription prices. The Internet is “free” and accessible wherever it becomes more expensive

Following the ultra-exclusive satellite internet access services, Starlink is almost a miracle for those who need to use this technology as the only means of internet access.

Although it seems like an impossible ideal, Starlink can provide free and uncensored internet access in North Korea, China, Antarctica, and more recently, Russia. The only conditions would be to somehow get the necessary equipment to connect, to find a location for installation as safe as possible from prying eyes and to set the subscription data.

Initially, Starlink access could be obtained at an initial cost of $ 499, which is the equivalent of the starter kit kit required to connect, followed by a $ 99 monthly subscription fee.

Under the new charging formula, the cost of the monthly subscription increases to $ 110, and the necessary equipment will have a standard price of $ 549.

In other words, the tariff for the acquisition and use of Starlink services was set without consistent profit margins, with cost increases threatening to take the entire project out of profitability.

Interestingly, Starlink Premium, a $ 2500 alternative to the proposed equipment purchase fee and a $ 500 monthly subscription fee, remains unchanged for the time being.
