Move over Moo Deng, a new baby animal claims the hearts of people around the world -.

With Moo Deng, Haggis and now Junjun, it seems that 2024 could very well be the year of cute baby animals. Instead of a baby pygmy hippopotamus, however, Junjun is an 11-month-old brown bear cub who has charmed everyone at the Shanghai Zoo.

Raised by hand from birth, Junjun has become accustomed to the life of luxury, playing with an abundance of toys in his enclosure. “Everyone loves such a lively and active bear cub.” his caretaker, Yang Junjie, told Reuters. “He can play in the exhibit hall all day, attracting everyone’s attention.”

Junjun is seen by the public once every two days, but his antics have quickly made him a star on social media. His favorite game is apparently playing chase with his goalies, first running after them, then making them run after him.
