Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered will be released on PS5 later this week. A new trailer is available that outlines all the new features players can expect. Check it out below.
In addition to improved visuals and the option to import existing saves (Trophy progress migrates as well), the remaster has three Lost Levels – Boar Hunt, Jackson Party and Sewers. Although cut from the final game, players can experience them in their raw form, with commentary by director Neil Druckmann and story director Halley Gross. Voice actors Troy Baker, Ashley Johnson, Laura Bailey and Shannon Woodward also give their thoughts.
No Return is a rogue-like survival mode with ten playable characters, each with new unique abilities, and players must survive through tough encounters. Going through the mode unlocks new outfits, weapon skins and more. Guitar Free Play expands on the minigame by offering additional characters (such as Joel and composer Gustavo Santaolalla) and new instruments such as the banjo and steel resonator.
The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered will launch on Jan. 19.
