Tesla recalls 2 million cars in US after safety concerns –

Tesla is recalling more than two million of its cars after an autopilot defect that could cause crashes. After a two-year investigation into the system, the flaw was found that could cause crashes when it was in use.

While this is classified as a recall, it does not mean that two million Tesla drivers will have to come to a dealer. According to the BBC, this is happening over the airwaves, which means a software update will fix the fault.

Here in the UK, no cars are being recalled because Tesla’s are not self-driving. Technically, in the U.S., they are neither, but the features were found to be insufficient to prevent driver abuse.
