Starfield and Redfall have received the most attention when it comes to first-party exclusives coming out this year, but they are not the big names in that group. Forza Motorsport is another long-awaited release that many have been looking forward to for a while, and while there hasn’t been much clarity lately about when exactly it will be released, it seems to be making good progress behind the scenes.
In a recent blog update published on the official Forza website, developer Turn 10 Studios has said that they are “polishing and preparing Forza Motorsport for release later this year.”
Although Microsoft said last year that Forza Motorsport would come out in spring 2023, the racing simulator was not given a specific release date at its presentation earlier this year. It is reported that the game has been delayed until the second half of 2023, while Microsoft itself did not release anything about the launch date.
Forza Motorsport is in development for Xbox Series X/S and PC.
