Remedy Entertainment Has New Brand Logo – That’s Gaming

Remedy Entertainment has experienced significant growth in recent years, and in the future, the studio plans to significantly increase its production by working on multiple major projects simultaneously, unlike how it has typically approached development in the past. To support this expansion, the developer has also now unveiled a new logo to replace its previous one, which had been in use for more than 20 years.

“The bullet in the letter R in the old logo represented the era of Max Payne, but today’s Remedy is much bigger than a single game,” explained Remedy Entertainment’s communications director Thomas Puha. “We have a whole portfolio of games, new and old. It was time to update and redefine our visual identity to bring more consistency, show our evolution over the years and better express our vision for today’s Remedy.”

Remedy Entertainment currently has a number of major titles in development, with the studio hoping to release a new game every year. First comes Alan Wake 2, the long-awaited follow-up, which will also serve as the studio’s first-ever full-featured survival horror game, coming out later this year for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.

Remedy is also working on two projects in the Control universe – Condor, a cooperative spin-off, and Control 2, a full-fledged single-player sequel. Meanwhile, the developer has also partnered with Tencent to work on the free-to-play multiplayer shooter Vanguard, and with Rockstar to develop a thorough remake of Max Payne 1 and 2.
