Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster revealed the big one for the Switch versions – That’s Gaming

While fans wait for Final Fantasy 16, those who play the franchise on Switch and PlayStation will soon have the chance to go back to some of the earliest parts with the upcoming launch of Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster. Prior to the release, file sizes for each of the games on Nintendo’s platform have been revealed thanks to updated Switch eShop pages.

Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster, or the entire collection, requires 5.7 GB of free storage, which is pretty modest (unsurprisingly), while the storage requirements for each individual game are even less demanding, with Final Fantasy 2 being the smallest and Final Fantasy 6 the largest.

Final Fantasy 1 requires 612 MB, Final Fantasy 2 requires 601 MB, Final Fantasy 3 and 4 require 734 MB each, Final Fantasy 5 requires 974 MB, and Final Fantasy 6 requires 1.3 GB.

Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster will be released for Nintendo Switch and PS4 on April 19. It is also available on PC, iOS and Android. If you’re waiting for a release for Xbox, based on recent developments, we recommend not waiting for breath.
