Gaming web3: Mouse maker Razer opens incubator

Razera company well known to gamers which markets various computer peripherals, has just launched a incubator dedicated to developers from Web3 games.

Baptized zVentures Web 3 Incubator (ZW3I) and unveiled on Tuesdaythe Singaporean business incubator Razer will host startups and developers specializing in Web3 gaming with the goal of stimulating their growth.

No one understands gamers better than Razer – we’ll provide our expertise and unique insights into gamer engagement and experiences to position your project for success,” the initiative’s website reads.

The manufacturer of mice, keyboards and headsets says participants will have access to its “network of over 200 million users” as well as its partners including blockchain entertainment specialist Animoca Brands, Amazon’s cloud arm AWS or the VC Griffin Gaming Partners.

“We’ll accelerate your growth by supporting you with the global expertise of Razer in marketing and partnership […] We offer companies access to zVentures’ extensive network of strategic partners, which includes the world’s leading ecosystem builders, technology platforms, and investors focused on games,” the announcement said.

Last month, the cloud unit of Chinese firm Alibaba announced the upcoming opening of a facility in Japan also aimed at supporting Web3 game developers.
