Porsche teams up with RECARO for a new gaming chair. –

Here’s something we’re willing to bet wasn’t on your 2023 bingo card. Porsche has entered the gaming chair market with their limited edition RECARO x Porsche Gaming Chair, which will be available from March 15 and will cost just under $2,500 USD.

Unlike many other gaming chairs, which go for race car aesthetics, the Porsche gaming chair strives to be a little more comfortable. It features “firm” lumbar support, as well as a “anti-submarining seat ramp” , which gives the cushion an upward angle.

There is also a 5D armrest on this chair, which sounds extremely impressive, but in fact means you can just adjust it to be more comfortable. Let’s hope these features are comprehensive enough to justify the hefty price.

If you want to buy one of these seats, make sure your wallet can handle it and that you are quick enough to grab one. Only 911 copies of the Porsche x RECARO will be made, and with pre-orders already live, that number may begin to dwindle quickly.
