Trump’s NFT prize collection surfaces on secondary markets, generating $53,000 in 24 hours of sales

The NFT minted by Polygon serve as a pass to a one-on-one meeting with the 45th President of the United States and a gala dinner with Trump. In the past 24 hours, the collection “Win Trump Prizes” recorded 38 ethers, or about $53,000 in sales, on Thursday, January 12, 2023.

Trump’s NFT prize collection is up for auction on the NFT Marketplace in Opensea.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump recently sold a collection of non-fungible token cards (NFTs) that sold out on the first day of its release. During the sale, NFT owners had the opportunity to win special Trump-related prizes, including a round of golf with the former president, a one-on-one Zoom call and an invitation to a gala dinner with Trump in Florida.

These prizes were minted as NFTs on the Polygon blockchain, just like the trading card set. They are now the subject of secondary sales on Opensea, the leading NFT marketplace in terms of sales volume. On January 12, 2023, the “Win Trump Prizes” on Opensea has seen 38 ethereum, or about $53,000 in sales, in the past 24 hours.

At the time of this writing, the Trump Winning Collection has a floor value of about 0.0219 ETH. One particular bill, called the “Group Zoom Event w/ Pres. Trump“, is selling at 0.0466 ETH or $66.43 for the NFT ticket. Trump’s price sale currently ranks 48th in terms of NFT collection sales over the past day. It has overtaken Rarepass’ NFT collection, which raised $52,458 today, and is below Rektguy’s NFT collection, which has sold $54,444 in the past 24 hours.

The Win Trump Prizes NFT collection, however, did better in 24-hour sales than collections such as Cool Cats, Zed Run, Solana Monkey Business, and World of Women on January 12. Sales of the Win Trump Prizes collection were lackluster, representing only 0.18% of NFT collection sales. 29.77 million in NFT sales on Thursday. The original Trump trading card NFTs saw $20,701 in sales on Jan. 12, down 44.90% from the previous day.
