Lidl continues to add to its range of products for the festive season, and among those to be found in stores next week is a very useful Christmas tree device.
Lidl will offer a tree stand with water tank under its own Livarno Home brand. The water in the container serves two purposes: it keeps the tree fresh for longer and stabilises the device.
The holder, measuring 37 x 10.5 cm, is compatible with trees up to 2.5 metres tall and with a trunk diameter of 3 – 12 cm at the base. The water tank has a capacity of 2.5 litres and the stand can support trees weighing up to 4.5 kg.
In this device, the tree is held in place by a clamp system, operated by means of a lever which can be locked in position.
Although you’ll find recommendations on the Internet for substances and ingredients (aspirin, sugar, salt, and even bleach) that can be added to the tree’s water to keep it fresher, Michigan State University claims that nothing but plain water is needed.
The product will arrive in stores on Monday, December 5, priced at $119. The company offers a 5-year warranty on this product, so be careful not to throw away your coupon.
Also on Monday, an interesting tree installation arrives in Lidl stores, with LED-lit globes. The device runs on batteries and costs just 20 lei.
