The Shiba Inu is invited to work with the World Economic Forum

Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer behind the popular Shiba Inu meme currency, has announced that the World Economic Forum (WEF) wants to collaborate with the popular crypto-currency project as part of its global metaverse (MV) policy.

Shytoshi Kusama launched a poll on Twitter to see if the community would like Shiba Inu to collaborate with the WEF. As of press time, nearly 5,000 votes have been cast, with the vast majority of followers in favor of such collaboration.

In a follow-up tweet, Shytoshi Kusama claims that Shiba Inu developers would be at the policy-making table, helping to shape global metaverse policy alongside tech giant Meta as well as decentralized crypto-native projects like Decentraland.

The Shiba Inu protocol made a foray into the metaverse with the introduction of the “Shiba Lands” in February 2021.

Earlier this month, SHIB: The Metaverse introduced a new artistic concept named Dunes.

Last month, she also unveiled her first concept art “Canyon“, inspired by the badlands, a dry area without plants and with large rocks.

With its high-profile metaverse project, Shiba Inu is trying to prove that it is more than a meme currency pushed into the spotlight by hype and speculation.

The Shiba Inu team has partnered with The Third Floor (TTF), the leading visualization company that has worked with Marvel, to develop its metaverse.
