Prince Henry pays tribute to Elizabeth II: “I will be eternally grateful”.

Prince Henry, grandson of Queen Elizabeth II, has paid tribute this Monday to the monarch, whose coffin is in the Scottish city of Edinburgh, and has said he is “eternally grateful” to his grandmother, whom he has described as a “guide” on his path.

“The queen was globally admired and respected,” he has asserted before highlighting her “unwavering grace and dignity.” “She remained true to herself throughout her life and now leaves a lasting legacy,” he has indicated in a statement.

The Duke of Sussex has thus expressed that he “will always be grateful, from the first childhood encounters to the moment he met his wife and great-grandson,” his son Archie Mountbatten-Windsor.

“I treasure these moments with you and many others. We miss you already. Not just us but the whole world. Now we honor my father in his new role as king,” he has continued before thanking the queen’s “commitment” to her role as monarch. “Thank you for your contagious smile,” he concluded.
