Argentine justice charges the partner of Fernández de Kirchner’s attacker with planning the attack

The Argentine Justice has charged the partner of Fernando Sabag Montiel, perpetrator of the attempted assassination attempt against the country’s vice president, Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, accusing her of having collaborated in the planning of the attack.

Brenda Uliarte, 23 years old and detained since Sunday for her possible link to the event, has been accused by the judge in charge of the case, María Eugenia Capuchetti, of having “planned” the assassination attempt, which counted on “previous agreement” between Uliarte and Sabag Montiel.

According to the magistrate, Uliarte was in the vicinity of the place of the event, where he arrived together with his partner, and both “had the firearm seized with its ammunition since before the event”, reports the Argentine newspaper ‘Clarín’.

Sabag Montiel was arrested last week after attempting to fire a gun inches away from the face of the Argentine vice-president in the vicinity of her home, an event from which Fernández de Kirchner escaped unharmed.
