Shiba Inu continues to break records in the number of its holders, reaching over 1,215,000 holders. Currently, the number of Shiba Inu owners was 1,215,811, according to WhaleStats data.

The top 1,000 ETH portfolios now hold 57,493,440,255,738 SHIBs worth $637,257,501, as reported by WhaleStats. Shiba Inu has also been under buying pressure from the whales, ranking in the top 10 most purchased tokens among the top 500 ETH whales over the past 24 hours. Today, Shiba Inu was trading up 6.10% over the past 24 hours at $0.0000119.

On its official Twitter account, Shiba Inu posted a teaser tweet containing only the image of a game console, raising expectations. This is a follow-up to the one posted last week, which was more of a short enigmatic clip.

Shiba Inu lead developer Shytoshi Kusama also shared this teaser in a tweet, but without comment and with only a GIF image, which looks like a teaser for an upcoming game based on SHIB

Last week, Shiba Inu announced its partnership with visualization studio The Third Floor (TTF) to design and produce its Metaverse project. TTF is one of the largest visualization companies, helping to create well-known intellectual properties for video games, VR/AR and location-based entertainment.
