U.S. State Department spokesman Ned Price warned Monday that the United States will impose additional sanctions on Iran if it supplies military drones to Russia.
“In the face of a possible Iranian supply of drone technology to Russia. We will continue to monitor very closely. All of our sanctions remain in place. Any such transaction would involve a number of sanctions that we have in our portfolio and presumably a number of sanctions that countries around the world have in place,” Price stressed at a press conference.
Last week the United States already accused the Iranian government that it would be preparing to provide Russia with hundreds of drones in order to help Moscow in the conflict with Ukraine.
