In the r/AskReddit community, which has 38.3 million members, someone asked which 10/10 rated series are recommended by users. More than 10,000 people responded, and we pulled out the shows that received the most votes.
Here are the top five 10-rated shows, according to Reddit users:
1. “Chernobyl” (10,000 votes at time of writing)
The 2019 miniseries chronicles the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, which erupted in 1986, and the cleanup of the contaminated area that followed. The series also scores highly on IMDB (9.4/10).
2. “Band of Brothers” (5,600 votes)
“Band of Brothers” is a 2001 miniseries that tells the story of the famous Easy Company, of the U.S. Army 101st Airborne Division, which fought in World War II in Europe. The production team included the great actor Tom Hanks (as executive producer and writer).
3. “True Detective” (4,800 votes)
The series, which debuted in 2014, tells the story of two detectives whose lives become intertwined as they pursue a serial killer who has been active for 17 years in the U.S. state of Louisiana. Actors Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson have been praised by critics and fans for their exceptional roles in the show.
5. “Avatar: The Last Airbender” (3,200 votes)
The animated series created by Nickelodeon, inspired by anime, debuted in 2005 and runs for three seasons. The main character Aang and his friends fight to save the world from Fire-Nation, one of the four nations it is divided between.
5. “Better Call Saul” (3,000 votes)
The movie series, released in 2015, is a prequel to “Breaking Bad” that follows the transformation of small-time lawyer Jimmy McGill into Saul Goodman, a wealthy lawyer with questionable morals.
