3 unusual kitchen products available this week

Supermarket chain Lidl has an exciting range of products for those who like to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. We’ve put together a selection of three interesting items on offer under the Silvercrest Kitchen Tools brand from Thursday 28 July.

A graduated measuring cup with scale – which can measure the amount of water, oil or flour – will cost 55 lei. The device includes a TARE function, warns when overloaded and indicates when the battery needs to be changed. The mug has a capacity of 1.5 litres and can hold a maximum weight of 5 kilos.

A glass kettle with LED light will also be available for 119 lei. The colour changes to red as the water boils. The 1.7 litre kettle boils one litre of water in 3 minutes.

The product uses Strix technology, the global leader in kettle control systems.

Also of interest is the calorie calculator scale, available for 60 lei. The device displays nutritional and calorie values for 800 foods. There are 200 programmable memory spaces.

The scale automatically switches off after 60 seconds of inactivity. Furthermore, the device warns when it is overcharged and when the battery is running low.

The maximum weight supported is 5 kilograms.

All three kitchen products will benefit from an extended 3-year warranty.
