Wukong appears at Gamescom – possible first DLC revealed – That’s Gaming

With the release of Black Myth: Wukong on Aug. 20 for Xbox Series X/S, it seems almost inevitable that Game Science also during Gamescom Opening Night Live present. According to new hints, the studio might even be hosting the first DLC pack for the action-RPG could be revealed.

Brand new artwork appeared on Twitter/X showing several characters who are do not appear in the base game. They all look like terrifying opponents, and how they fit into the story is still a mystery. One thing is certain: the battles are going to be spectacular.

That DLC is in the works was already revealed in September 2024 confirmed by Hero Games’ Daniel Wu, whose company has invested heavily in the game’s development. With the timing of this new teaser moment, a release in 2026 increasingly likely.
