World War Z Aftermath’s Holy Terror update now available – That’s Gaming

The new Holy Terror Update is now available for World War Z: Aftermath, Saber Interactive’s ultimate co-op zombie shooter inspired by Paramount Pictures’ 2013 blockbuster film. Available free today on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, this latest patch brings with it a host of new features, including the new Rome map for Horde Mode XL, a fourth upgrade path for all classes, new weapons and weapon bonuses, new challenges and more.

Players can adopt a fresh look for the season with the premium World War Z: Aftermath – Victory Lap Weapons Skin Pack, available today on all platforms for €4.99, featuring stylish new options for the Mini-21 Rifle, S890 Shorty Shotgun, HW416 Assault Carbine and Repeater X Crossbow.

Horde Mode XL debuted earlier this year and now players can experience its large-scale action on a second map: Rome! Fight for survival in the shadow of the Coliseum against special XL waves bursting with over 1,000 hungry zombies. Challenge mode, which allows players to increase the difficulty with rotating mutators for greater rewards, is now also available for Horde Mode XL’s previously released Tokyo map.

In addition, new mutators have been added to standard Horde Mode, as well as daily and weekly challenges, and players can now search for teammates for Horde Mode and Horde Mode XL using the quick match system.

Today’s update also significantly improves player progression with the new fourth upgrade path for all classes, with nine new bonuses for each class. AI teammates also now have their own different classes and can use special abilities, such as the Soldier’s Grenades, the Fixer’s Supply Bag and the Medic’s Stim Pistol.

You need serious firepower to tackle all these new threats, and today’s update has you covered with two new free weapons: the 1877 SBL Repeating Rifle, which delivers high damage and accuracy with lever action, and the MRL202 “Commando” Multi-shot Rocket Launcher. You’ll also discover new in-game weapon bonuses, as well as four new free character trinkets.
