Season 3 of Lucasfilm’s Emmy Award-winning series premieres March 1, exclusively on Disney+. Disney+ has premiered the exciting trailer and poster for Season 3 of Lucasfilm’s original Star Wars: The Mandalorian series premiering March 1, exclusively on the Disney+ streaming platform.

This season, The Mandalorian continues its journey through the Star Wars galaxy. Once a reclusive bounty hunter, Din Djarin is reunited with Grogu. Meanwhile, the New Republic strives to lead the galaxy away from its dark history. The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together.

The Emmy Award-winning series stars Pedro Pascal, Katee Sackhoff, Carl Weathers, Amy Sedaris, Emily Swallow and Giancarlo Esposito. The directors of the eight episodes of Season 3 include Rick Famuyiwa, Rachel Morrison, Lee Isaac Chung, Carl Weathers, Peter Ramsey and Bryce Dallas Howard.

Jon Favreau is showrunner/head writer and executive producer, along with Dave Filoni, Rick Famuyiwa, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson. Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck are co-executive producers.

The Mandalorian actor Pedro Pascal has made a series of rather cryptic revelations about the appearance of several new characters in the show’s third season.

“The Mandalorian” debuted the day Disney+ launched in the United States in 2019, and has since earned critical acclaim for the way the adventures starring Din Djarin (a character played by Pedro Pascal), accompanied by Grogu, have unfolded across the galaxy.

Season 2 premiered in October 2020 and ended in December 2020. Filming for the third season was scheduled to begin in April 2021, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic until October 2021.
