No, it seems they are safe to use, but that doesn’t stop ill-informed people from panicking and rival companies from seizing their opportunity to go viral.

Hydro Flask posted an Instagram message declaring that its product contains no lead, which naturally turned the conversation into a new brand of cup entering the mix. At the end of the day, both are just beautiful water bottles, and we really can’t see what all the hype is about. The desire to consume is just too strong in some people.
